This game is one of my favorites. I like flying games that are not always dogfighting and trying to beat an opponent. This game gives you the chance of doing diffenet tasks. The advanced controls are pretty hard, so I do not use them. Also, there is an annoying problem with a portion of the game. When you are playing on a difficult mission and you do an achievement, the game puts the action in panoramic view. The problem is that the game does not stop your airplanes controls. If you move your idevice ever so slightly, by the time the game changes from panoramic view back to the game, you are already on the process of crashing into something; making the gameplay on the difficult parts very frustrating (think of the airship mission and the final mission).

This is a really great game with incredible graphics! I wish that it would remember my control scheme and not ask me each time I start it up, though. And the throttle control should be a LOT bigger on the iPhone, as its really tiny!

Amazing controls, beautiful setting, challenging missions. This game is a keeper.

It was fun for an hour then it just got boring

This games is very well made. Only one nit...the throttle control is too small. Its hard to finely adjust your speed. And when running on something as small as the iPhone screen, you cant really adjust the speed well at all because the control is too small. On the iPhone, the control should be much larger

I saw an enthusiastic online review of this game, and all the great reviews here, so I bought it. I played it a lot for a few days. That was a month or so ago. On the rare occasions when Ive thought about it or noticed the icon since, I havent once really considered playing it again. While the graphics are nice, the game is just way too slow to really be interesting, even for an old fart like me at 65. If you dont mind the pace, you might like it.

Only bad because of how long it takes to download

Great game except for the aerodynamics of the controls. If you pull back on the stick the aircraft should loop, not just point upwards and stop pitching. Would be great if you could sort the controls out to be more realistic.

Why do my previous paint jobs disappear when I switch to a new one? I cant go back and unlock the scrolls again. Really hope its a bug and not a ploy to get me to buy the cheat menu...

For a very inexpensive application, Air Mail is simply wonderful. The story line is excellent coupled with ever challenging missions. Graphics are thrilling and control takes practice, but options are available. I am impressed that there are no hidden costs. Really no reason to lodge any complaints about Air Mail; I am sold!

This is a charming flight sim game. The art design is very attractive, the music is pleasant, and the game play is very smooth (on my iPad 2). Several configuration enhancements would make the game much more enjoyable for me, as I am yet another pilot and R/C hobbyist and I am also having difficulties with the control configuration and behavior. So I have two requests: 1. Make pitch reversal work in advanced control mode. Note that it also doesnt work in tilt mode, but the current orientation in tilt mode is the way I like it. 2. Allow swapping the positions of the stick and throttle in touch mode. With these simple (I assume) changes, it would be a 5 star game for me. As it is, the control issues interfere with my full enjoyment of the experience. Thats it for now. Props from a fellow s/w developer on the quality of this game.

I love the game. Finally I dony have to kill zombies... please make more missions, maps. Just really well done! One of the best iPad apps.

I bought this game for my ipad, not realizing that it wasnt compatible. Check the requirements.

What a fun, little game! I like all the missions up until the memorizing, tunnel game. That just hurts the eyes. The only recommendation I would make would be to turn off the iPads tendency to "flip screen" when you make a big dive forward. This game should turn that function off... J.D.

Fun game. I love the graphics too. Everything is highly polished including the game play.

The makers of this app really put their heart and soul into this beautiful game. Airmail is fun and challenging for all levels of gamers, and has the kind of content that allows me to hand this game off to my young nephews, without reservation. Kudos to the app makers on this one

Once you get the hang of it your hooked! Cant wait for Additional levels.
